WEST VIRGINIA 2025

WELCOME TO THE COAL MINER’S CONUNDRUM

APRIL 16-20 2025

Our gang here at Two Lane Touring has come up with another great adventure for you, this time on the back roads of West Virginia! We are sticking to the formula of an all-inclusive tour, where all you have to do is pick your favorite fun car, grab a co-driver, and meet us at the start. If you’ve not toured with us before, the vibe is relaxed, casual, and fun. We are all here to make new friends and share the love of cars and exciting roads. This time we are providing a mix of “point-to-point” and “great loop” drives, giving everyone the opportunity to best enjoy our mountainous and historic surroundings.

Wednesday, April 16th

We’ll be meeting up in the afternoon in the northern part of the state- Morgantown, West Virginia. We’ll have our registration where you pick up your route books, car badging, and gear, along with a tour of a private car collection. We finish the day with a hosted kick off dinner and gathering in the evening where you’ll get to know your fellow tourers and sponsors.

Thursday, April 17th

The driving begins! We have prepared a great route for you, and there’s not a straight line in sight. You will have a route book, as well as guidance offered through our favorite smartphone app, Rallista. We stay on public roads, avoiding interstate highways, and stick to what’s the most scenic. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are organized and included, and we have great things to see and do on our way to our hotel for the next three nights- the world famous Greenbrier Resort. The hotel has a host of restaurants, bars, and other gathering spaces, and we’ll be experiencing many of them over the next few nights.

Friday, April 18th

We begin the day with a hosted breakfast and driver’s meeting, but then we have a special hosted adventure for the group at the Greenbrier before our driving begins. Afterwards we will be experiencing one of our next two distinct “great loops” from the hotel out on the scenic roads of West Virginia. (Okay, we dip into Virginia for a smidge too, but you won’t mind.) There will be curves, elevation changes, and scenic vistas, along with hosted meals and local experiences. Then it’s back to the Greenbrier for cocktails and a special presentation!

Saturday, April 19th

After our hosted breakfast at the Greenbrier, we’ll have a driver’s meeting and roll out again on a fresh scenic path. We have a couple of amazing adventures for you, along with more fantastic roads, huge scenery, and fun. (I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but helmets may be provided.) As before, your lunch, dinner and all adventures for the day are included. You’re really going to love this, and again it’s back to the fantastic Greenbrier resort for more fun in the evening, including in the historic casino!

Sunday, April 20th

Happy Easter! Our final day will incorporate a beautiful hosted brunch together at the resort, and if a Sunrise Service is part of your tradition, you can enjoy one at 7:00 am beforehand. You have several options today. Feel like hanging out at the Greenbrier and enjoying more of the amenities? Go for it. Do you need to return to Morgantown to pick up a tow rig you left behind at the beginning? No problem. Nothing is mandatory today, but if you’d like one last collection visit before officially steering for home, there is a special collection outside of Roanoke, VA we are likely to visit.
